Kinder Hoof Care Academy Trimmer Training
Kinder Hoof Care Academy: 3-day Essential Skill Building & Refresher Training. Also coming on 2024 : 1-day Advanced Trimming Session. If you already have experience and have been trained on the functional hoof training method, this course is for you.
The Kinder Hoof Care Academy Trimmer Training is a 3-day hands-on hoof trimming course for farm staff or professional trimmers who want to gain experience and understanding of maintenance trimming and treating lesions.
April 9 - Day 1 will be held at a veterinary clinic office in Visalia, CALIFORNIA
April 10-11 - Days 2-3 will be held on-farm in Visalia, CALIFORNIA
You will learn and practice:
- Principles of hoof care
- Functional hoof trimming
- Therapeutic hoof trimming
Participation requires:
- Watching training videos (approximately 3 hours of pre-work) prior to the first day of the course.
- Practicing biosecurity - Wearing clean clothes and coveralls, and any additional biosecurity measures taken during the training.
